DIRECTIONS TO GET TO US

We are situated near Shieldhill.

Coming from Dumfries, take the A701 Glasgow/Edinburgh road. Continue past Amisfield for about a mile. Just after the large layby, there is a turning right signposted Shieldhill. Take this turning, and continue for about a mile. There is a sign on the left hand side of the road for Laightown Kennels - turn right here. Follow this lane and take the next right - we are down this lane on the right hand side.

From Lockerbie - take the road to Lochmaben (A709 to Dumfries). You will pass the Community Hospital and just past the hospital you will see a turning to the right, signposted Watchhill and Shieldhill. Take this road and continue until you reach Shieldhill, where you turn left and through the village. About a mile down the road, you will see a sign on the right hand side of the road for Laightown Kennels - Turn left here, continue down the lane and take your first right. We are down this lane on the right hand side.
